Ignite your adventure in Pirofauna: A paper-made world
From the creative mind behind the award-winning Papetura comes a new enchanting adventure: Pirofauna. Game developer Tomasz Ostafin, also known as Petums, has just unveiled his latest project, set to ignite the interest of fans and newcomers alike. The game is currently in the early stages of production, but a tantalizing reveal teaser trailer has been shared to whet our appetites:
In Pirofauna, players will take on the role of a tiny flame wandering through a dark, misty forest. The flame has the power to set anything it touches ablaze, providing a beacon of light in the engulfing darkness. The game promises to be a unique exploration adventure, where you will help lost and frightened creatures and fend off less friendly beings. The forest's inhabitants have their stories about the flame, sometimes fearing it, other times welcoming it into their village or seeking its help.
An intriguing aspect of Pirofauna is its unique visual style. Echoing Ostafin's previous work, the game world is entirely made of paper, giving a distinctive aesthetic to the atmospheric forest setting. This time, however, the paper world gains a third dimension, adding depth and immersiveness to the game. Accompanying the visual experience is a soundtrack by Tomas Dvorak, known for his work on Amanita games, promising to fill the world of Pirofauna with captivating sounds.
While the release date for Pirofauna is yet to be confirmed, it's expected to be available for PC, Mac, and eventually consoles. As we wait for more updates on this enchanting game, you can support the developer by adding the game to your wishlist on Steam. Stay tuned for more news about Pirofauna and its journey from a spark of an idea to a fully-fledged gaming experience.
